Hate to admit this but, I actually caught myself whining about how cold my hands were while working the video camera at the Polar Bear Plunge in St. Peter on Saturday.

It may not feel like it, but we are in the midst of Winterfest.

To the Editor:
It is good to be back at the Capitol, where we face another crucial legislative session and an opportunity to build on improvements we made in 2011.

We probably get a little over excited about winning awards.
Thing is, they are the community’s awards as much as they are the newspaper’s awards.

MN2020 is a nonpartisan, progressive think tank focusing on the issues that really matter: education, health care, transportation and economic development.

I had the chance this week to write equally interesting stories about an alleged bank robber; and a horseman who hoofs across the country raising awareness for hungry children.
